Major Refit of BOSS Racing
Built and designed by well know cat sailor Gary Saxby. Boss is an 11.5 meter just over 7-meter beam racing cat. A minimalist form optimized for speed.
We conducted an exterior refit and got her back to full racing mode.
There were deck reinforcement jobs that involved lamination and load-distributing backing plates after various balsa core repairs.
The hull bows were extended, and the exterior was resurfaced and repainted with a few small local point structural repairs.
The boat finished up with a longer waterline, and structural integrity and still super light, so much so, it flew.. he he he
